My driving instructor (Omar), taught me everything I need to know about my driving test, and driving in general to make sure I am a safe driver for years to come. He had so much knowledge and he definitely is the biggest reason why I am confident in my driving and passed my test first try! I highly recommend this academy for new drivers!

From the first interaction with Sonia, I knew the experience would be superb. After initially signing up for lessons with Young Drivers and having a terrible experience, Global Driving Academy was a breath of fresh air. Sonia was extremely courteous and always very accommodating. If you have the chance to select an instructor I HIGHLY recommend Omar. I cannot say enough good things about him and without him, I am sure I would not have passed on the first try. Very patient, knowledgeable, and on top of all that, an overall wonderful person. I truly enjoyed each and every lesson. I opted for the 45 minute warm-up lesson before taking my test (highly recommend doing this) and Omar was nothing but positive and reassuring the entire time. He definitely helped ease some of my fears and helped me go into the test calm and controlled. Thank you GDA team!!
H	Helena Yepes on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am in my 40s and driving has always been very hard for me, I had zero experience. Today, after a few weekends of learning with Omar and Mahdi I passed my test! . I cannot recommend them enough. My schedule is very difficult and Sonia made sure to find a time that worked for me. Omar and Mahdi are incredible instructors, patient, logical and truly care for the students. One of the things I like the most is the approach to not memorizing things just because but learning why they have to be that way, so much easier to remember! I like the fact they have a tablet and drew for me things when I didn't understand them and explained things in different ways until I did. Before my test today, I drove with Omar, I cannot thank him enough for giving me the calm and confidence I needed to pass this test. If I had to do a driving test again, I would go with them. I will be recommending them to everyone who wants to hear. Also, my score was almost perfect, only a generic observation, that was all. I passed with flying colours! If you are reading this, good luck with your test!

Both instructors are wonderful and they provide you with so many helpful tips. I did not have any driving experience before taking the lessons. And did not even hope to pass my road exam. He was really professional, logical, cool and calm while doing the training and every time he would arrive before time for the classes. I took 4 classes with him and I really started feeling confident for the test. He provided really good feedback which were not only helpful in passing the road test but will also makes someone a better driver. He provided excellent driving tips especially for parallel parking and other maneuvers. I drove with Omar on my test day and he also helped me in overcoming my nervousness :D I would highly recommend Omar and Global Driving Academy for anyone looking for driving classes.

Mahdi is very thorough and helped navigate the differences between driving in BC and elsewhere.very clear, calm, professional and patient. All the best qualities in an instructor. I had the chance to have one lesson with Ali and he was very specific and helpful. Learned a ton from both of them. Last but not least is Sonia whose prompt responses and flexibility helped me in booking my lessons and road tests very swiftly and with ease. She’s very accommodating. I recommend Global Driving Academy big time!
M	Manal Mansoor on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommend taking classes here! I took 2 lessons with Mahdi and one with Ali and both were very competent, patient, and encouraging. I had failed my Class 7 test twice before coming here and managed to pass after taking lessons with them. I had a lot of hesitation with parking especially, but the techniques taught here were by far the easiest to understand. I was surprised how the car went in perfectly each time with their instructions. Their cars are also very beginner-friendly and were very easy to operate. I feel like they made me seem like a better driver than I was because they'd brake so smoothly. Overall, good value for money. Instructors are punctual, and they actually listen to what you want out of the lesson as opposed to going over a predefined teaching plan which is something I came across at the first driving school I took lessons at. For that reason, I found my lessons very valuable. Booking lessons was super easy as well, they were always a text away and managed to accommodate me even though I contacted them 2 weeks before my test date. Thank you so much Mahdi and Ali for helping me pass my test!

They were both really patient in teaching you how to drive and had a very deep understanding of the road rules and challenging parts of the Point Grey Road Test. I passed on my first attempt with an almost perfect score sheet thanks to their coaching. They also focus on training you to be a better driver beyond what is required to pass the road test. I found the school to be very responsive to emails to book lessons. The school’s cars were all very new and equipped with many helpful technology features to make learning easier and safer. For example, cars were equipped with back up cameras and blind spot assist. The cars were also all hybrids to reduce the environmental impact from all the driving
