Glenroy Preschool Centre

I have two children who are enrolled at Glenroy Preschool. I can't begin to say enough good things about the staff and the daycare. My son, who eats nothing at home, gobbles up almost every lunch and snack that he is feed..... this is an amazing feet on its own. My daughter, who is a school ager, gets mad when we arrive late in the summer days because she does not want to miss a second of the day. The Teachers welcome both kids with smiles in the morning and Ms. Shameen in the office has been nothing but helpful and supportive with me. I have recommended this centre to two of friends because I am confident in the staff and I would recommend Glenroy to anyone searching for a place to care for their little one.

I decided to pull up the website and check out the reviews and i couldn't believe all the bad comments on here! My son has been going to this day care for over a year now and he loves it. The teachers really care about the kids and so does Ms Shameen who runs the place. I have never seen a child leave there that didn't run and give her a hug. It's a shame that people think this place should be shut down because i really couldn't be happier with it. :)

My three children have been with Glenroy Preschool since February 2016. All my children have built rapport with each of their assigned educator who have shown so much love to my children. My children have learnt so many wonderful things from the staff at Glenroy; they love the nutritious meals and snacks that they are fed at this daycare. Ms. Shemene, the daycare's supervisor, is one of the most generous, understanding, professional and impartial individual anyone would like to have in his or her corner. Ms. Shemene has provided me with so much support and given me great advice at times when I needed it most. She takes her role seriously and applies the rules, policies and procedures of the daycare impartially in order to safeguard the many children and staff she oversees. Hence, when parents who fail to be considerate of other parents and their children by not adhering to the policies of the daycare that are meant to safeguard everyone, it becomes Ms. Shemene's duty to prevent those children and staff that are at risk. Additionally, as parents, we sometimes do not want to hear anything "negative" about our kids - for instance, after a long day and coming to pick my children up, I am told one or two or three of my children did something unacceptable while on the school bus or one might have said something unkind to another child at the daycare. I feel bad sometimes hearing about it, but I am grateful that the staff and supervisor shared those information with me so that going forward I can remind my children not to repeat such mistakes. I feel that addressing challenges should be done with a cool head - being rational, truthful and respectful; I feel it is the most basic human thing to do. We love and thank you Glenroy Staff!! M.H.

My experience in the school is clean, warm welcome to the public, and I love the fact Ms Shamene is old school...not like other daycare...."all above the money"...She wants the best for the children who coming and going in her care. And I believe all the staff in the preschool will agree too. Thank you for accepting my son. ?

Glenroy Preschool is a Great choice should you require Daycare!!! My sons (8 & 5) have been attending Glenroy for a couple years now, and the Staff have been nothing but amazing to my kids!! On numerous occasions Shamene has helped us out and I appreciate everything she has done for my family, as well as the entire Daycare! My kids love it here, they always have a great time!! I have never had any issues, at all!!! I would never think to move them from this Daycare! ? ?? Thank you so much for all your hard work!

My experience is very good place for kids. My Triplett stay for 2 years in this decare , all women was very nice treating with my kids and the place is clean and warm , even my adult kids they love the summer camp in the decare . Thank you for all the group working in this place .

The lady that run the place is very cruel and lying woman. Treat kids very badly and mentally abusing. Was an eyewitness of physical cruelty, use grocery bags as nets to cover kids head (like a shower cap) allday in the hot summer saying "those kids have head lice". Separate sick kids from rest and keep the sick one in the toilet until parents come to pick her. See the photo of their bathroom prison. This place should shut down ASAP.

Glenroy was a second home for my both boys. Such a wonderful teachers, loving, caring like family members. The support that they showed us specially during Covid was amazing. I will definitely send back my kids there as soon as I can. A big Thank You to each and one of you dear all teachers.
