★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was my first time horse back riding and we made it clear to the guider that it was our first time assuming they would be helpful. I thought there would be proper instructions before our ride but there was nothing like that. When I was unsure what to do the guider and another lady who worked there would yell at me telling me what to do in a very rude way. It would be nice if the guider was understanding that we are not experienced or pros our first time as they are. The horse was calm for the most part. This experience ruined my first time of horse back riding. I will go to another location for my next time as I did not feel comfortable or welcomed at Glen Valley Stables.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don’t walk, run to Glen Valley stables or maybe ride. My partner and I had a fantastic experience and would recommend the 1hour private ride to everyone. Tara was a great guide and ensures you feel comfortable throughout the entire experience.
I had to reschedule my original booking and it was a no stress process. Overall great communication and service. 10/10 would recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tara made our family adventure a phenomenal experience from the first contact. The customer service is excellent. The location is stunning, the trails are clean. The horses are the BEST trail horses I have ever experienced. The horses were clearly very well cared for, trained and very good at carrying all kinds of people with incredible grace and patience! Our horses were matched perfectly to our personalities! Tara was our guide for a two hour ride and really paid attention to our dynamic, our energy and our family flow to make it a personalized adventure including answering many questions. I would definitely recommend to everyone!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a wonderful 2 hour ride today! I have zero riding experience and was a little nervous but the staff were great. I was solo and joined another couple for a small group ride with Deb as our guide (who’s great!) - the horses are all beautiful and Maverick in particular is a Very Good Boy. We started around 10:30am which was a relief because it was getting very hot by the time we finished.
Thanks Glen Valley Stables, I’ll be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely wonderful. Staff is great and informative. They pair the rider well with the horse. My daughter, friend and I rode freckles, maverick and keeper. Fantastic horses in beautiful shape.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Samson was a really nice horse, even though I think he was a bit tired/sleepy ?.. this stable has the biggest horses I’ve ever seen/rode. Our tour guide was nice, and held on to the horses of the little kids that couldn’t ride. Overall it was a nice ride galloping with the horses. We just sat on our horses, we didn’t really control them per se, as the horses are used to the routes like clockwork. We went on the Meadow Loop Trail Ride (1 hour) $80 per person.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came here with our grandson for a riding experience for him. This was his birthday gift.
The people running the stables are well organized. We came an hour before our scheduled time. Had enough time to register and wait a bit and watch the horses.
The rides are organized in groups of 6 - 8 and can be booked for an hour or ninety minutes. If I remember correctly, the cost is $80 per hour. Each group is led by a guide who leads the group.
Our grandson had a great time and so did all the other riders.
