★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Want a break from wine tour and the lake? Here is a great option. Parking is easy and the trail is well marked. Lots of well built stairs and varied terrain make this an interesting hike. Plan to bring plenty of water for the hot days. Bring extra water if your dog comes along.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The dog and I set out to discover a hike...faced with a lot of stairs we carried on and rose to the top of a canyon. We were enticed by more glimpses of the canyon and nature so we kept going, winding through meadows and forest and... hello....more stairs... but all worth it. The path winds up and down and there are plaques along the way to let you know about aspects of the area. The flora was all turned toward the sunshine grabbing a few morning rays. Beautiful!!
