He is extremely knowledgeable about fishing on the Sunshine Coast and about the the local history and geography as well. K	Keith Yang on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would highly recommend Captain Al of Gibsons Sport Fishing if you're in the Gibsons area and want to try your luck at catching Salmon. Al took six of us out on his boat in August 2019. Our group ranged from 10 yrs old to me 53 yrs old, and we all had a great time. Al was very realistic with us about what to expect ... fishing had been a bit slow ... but his boat is really clean and spacious so the kids had a good time laying out for a bit before the fish started biting. We were lucky enough to catch a very nice Chinook for dinner (posted a pic) and took home some great memories of our day fishing in Gibsons. Thank you Captain Al!

He let us play our own music on the boat and made sure we were comfortable. Al did not mind that he went over the time we paid for to let us whale watch and clean our salmon that we caught. This trip was well worth it and I would highly recommend it to anyone!

The best part was my wife is hooked on on fishing now....Thanks Allan for a great day..Highly recommend Allan if you are thinking of fishing..The Crabs were very tasty too... We have fished all over the world and I have to say that Al is one of the best guides we have ever had the pleasure of fishing with. Al is easy to get along with and relaxed. His boat is extremely nice, perfectly setup and very clean. During our half day trip we played at least a dozen salmon and brought home a limit for the boat. Al was kind enough to tell us where fish were being caught further up the Sunshine Coast as we moved further north the next day. He put us on fish again with his advice. What a great guy. Al's very knowledgeable and friendly - while he was very honest and realistic about us going fishing in the slow season, we got lucky and caught a few including a big 18lb Chinook! It was very easy and smooth experience from start to finish - booking the charter, find the marina, and going out fishing. There was plenty of space for our family of four and everything was very clean (especially now with covid concerns). Highly recommend booking a fishing charter with Al!
