★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a beautiful spot. Perfect for water sports and there's a small pebble beach. On hot weekends get there EARLY if you want a place to park. It fills up quickly! There is a 4 stall outhouse on site but it can run out of hand sanitizer and toilet paper so bring your own!

Brilliant space to admire beauty of Nature.
In winters the lake is frozen to the level that you can even drive your vehicles over the surface and have fun ( Please do it safely and you must have updated information ). Very good spot for boating ? and surfing when snow is melted.
Even very good place to watch Aurora Lights.
Area might be windy better be ready for cold weather even if it’s sunny day.
Snow covered mountains can be seen easily.
Dam lights (Colourful) looks fabulous at night.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a beautiful lake! It’s such a close drive from Cochrane and even Calgary! Lots of parking space and space to launch a boat. It’s so scenic and has a little dock to walk on the water. It’s a hidden gem and well worth visiting!

It takes an hour to drive here from Calgary.
Lots of Gophers were playing around. You can go near the water however be careful as the area is steep and slippery.
There isn’t any picnic tables here to seat and enjoy food.
Cannot believe that this is man made lake. Nice views and scenery around.
Parking lot is very big and it is near to the lake.
A must visit place when visiting Banff!!
Highly recommend!!
