Requested a quote for some cabinet doors and handles about 3 weeks ago and still have only received one email but only after going into the store and when I call the designer there is no answer and in my opinion this is totally unprofessional

A great looking store, very well presented with much choice. I like the way they illustrate the different electrical connections with visual examples.

Most incompetent store I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Sold me a product they didn't even have in stock and made me run all over their store and yard to find out that inventory checks are too tasking for these people. Afterwards refunding the products was like pulling needles. The whole ordeal took nearly 50 minutes. I would give 0 stars if possible.

The staff is great. My wife likes this store. Theres more decor stuff here Unfortunately all building materials are cheaper at rona, or anywhere else really. Gearlinks has good staff but money is tight. I compare prices nowadays Ive started just going to rona or driving to london or springfield for building materials. It is a nice store though. They do have some neat stuff.

Friendly knowledgeable staff , found everything I was looking for and the prices were very fair.

I want to shop local , but I can't afford to with home hardware's prices . Counter tops are much more then there competition. And they order from the same suppliers . So so what the heck . Seems like greed . In response to the owner it had nothing to do with prices increase, I bought a counter to from the original owner 10+ years ago and found out the same to be true after my purchase. However he was very helpful and understand of my situation and gave me decent discounts on other home improvement needs I purchased . As I would prefer to shop local , sometimes it's not worth it. As in shopping at Geerlinks it's not worth spending that much more on everything!!!

I had the pleasure of speaking with 2 of your supervisors today. My Dad had gifted me a beauti tone umbrella and he has since passed away. The umbrella got ruined and it broke my heart. So many beautiful memories attached to it. Your employees replaced it for me at no charge. I was overwhelmed at their kindness. I was even given a nice warm hug which I so sincerely appreciated. The one supervisor was from the service desk and the other was from the paint department. They both made me so happy today.

KORZITE CONCRETE SEALER Purchased 2019 Garbage concrete sealer. Do not buy. Purchased from Homehardware St Thomas. Both the manufacture and Home hardware Corporate has been little to no help in resolving the issue. Waited 28 days not the 30 recommended to seal a brand new colored concrete driveway. And because I didn't use their cleaner they are basically saying I didn't use this product it was my fault. This was applied June 2019, and looked great until I use a 10 pound bag of driveway salt the following February 2020 And it completely ruined the looks of the driveway as it burned through this sealer. But of course its everything the consumer did. A $9,000 beautiful colored concrete driveway to be ruined with 10 dollars worth of salt and 2, 5 gallon pails And yes it's warranted for salt. I was given an email contact with Home Hardware Corporate, whom I contacted. Sent the below pictures and they had a Korzite representative to investigate what went wrong. Korzite has been using my driveway as a test lab (pic's below) trying different things and some I was expected to do it myself and report back with pictures....bla..bla..bla... Everything but mechanically remove this garbage off. Between Home hardware and Korzite I've was left with a mess and no where to turn to. After multiple visits by the rep and 18 months of frustration I had enough. The rep said these things take time...should have said it takes time to wear you down with no resolution...and was never going to be. I hired a company to mechanically (Sandblast) remove the remains of the sealer. Something that should have been done by either Home Hardware or Korzite the manufacturer of this sealer. This was a $2000.00 repair job that I had to eat. The contact at Home Hardware Corporate was MIA after numerous email attempts. Never responded in kind. Still till this day.... Spoke to the same person in the paint department today November 9th 2021 and showed him the pictures and the one sided communications to Home hardware corp...and no reply...ask if the manager of the store could help with a follow up with this corporate contact...then he said we're an independent Home Hardware and I'd be better off contacting Corporate complaints myself.
