E	Edie Kaiser on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our son and daughter-in-law’s wedding exceeded our expectations with the outdoor ambiance with sunflowers and the gold hue of the fall. The Gathered has a warm atmosphere where you feel like family. We were honoured to have our son’s Grandma and Elaine (the owner of the Gathered) preform the wedding ceremony. Following the ceremony there was a delicious variety of finger foods for the guests and outdoor games! The backdrop of wild flowers, greenery and exceptional sunsets made for wedding photo memories! Our guests were treated to an exceptional culinary experience! We had a unique south western cuisine. The Gathered signature corn bread is amazing! I would highly recommend this for any wedding, showers or family events. Elaine and Alysa are the most wonderful hosts. They help with any detail you may need. You can tell they love making every event the most perfect! Thank you to the Garhered. This is a day we will all remember and we are still talking about.

They were very communicative and flexible throughout the whole process--they even made me a very specific meal to cater to my dietary needs and that was wonderful. The venue was stunning and all of our guests were absolutely thrilled with everything, from the natural beauty, to the games, to the food (my mom said it was the best potato salad she's had in her life). If you want beautiful wedding photos then this is a fabulous choice. We are so grateful to the Gathered for making our wedding memorable and perfect for us and our friends and family. Thank you!

Alysa and Elaine were incredibly easy to communicate with and made every effort to incorporate all of our ideas. The space is beautiful, welcoming and very private. Our wedding was small and intimate but the space certainly has the ability to accommodate all types of weddings. The highlight for us was definitely the food. Everything was delicious, topped off with home made donuts for dessert! A family run business that makes you feel at home! Highly recommend!

It was the first venue we looked at- and as soon as we saw it we knew we needed to book it. Elaine and Alysa are delightful and incredibly easy to communicate with, they made the planning process straightforward (no easy task while planning during a pandemic) and made you truly feel as though you were a part of their family. The food was incredible (we had the Southwest Menu), and we had many guests who were trying to figure out the recipes. The beautiful gardens and tent, freshly made donuts, and smiling family-run service are truly the icing on the cake! I can't recommend the Gathered enough, if you are lucky enough to have your wedding there- or even attend a wedding there!- you will not be disappointed.

We had seen it in June when the flowers were starting to bloom but in August the gardens were just unbelievable. The bridal cottage is beautiful, the gardens are truly an absolute dream and the food was absolutely delicious - everyone was raving about it and there is no worries of a typical bland wedding meal here... So many flavours! We can't say enough about The Gathered and would recommend to anyone who wants a gorgeous wedding with great people who are organized and care about the little details that make your day special!

The food is fantastic, the people working there are all so friendly, and the place is just gorgeous. This is easily the best Calgary wedding venue I have been to. Its a short drive from the city, but once you are there you won't want to leave.

We met with Alysa and Elaine, in their home, we immediately felt so welcomed and at ease. There was no wedding stress, no rush and we just knew; this place was perfect. We had to trust that the photos did the summer season justice... well let me tell you, they do not. This venue is so much better in person! You just have to see it in real life. Our wedding planning took a turn 2020, as the whole world did, but Alysa and Elaine just rolled with the punches with us and after 2 reschedules, we made it. The views, Heavenly. The food, Devine. The Atmosphere, Perfect. We couldn’t have dreamt of a more perfect spot to spend the happiest day of our lives.

The team at The Gathered handled the postponements of 2020 with care, thoughtfulness and kindness for their couples, which says a lot as it was a time of unknown for them as well. Alysa answered my multiple emails of questions promptly and was always there to lend a suggestion or guidance. The team at The Gathered truly treats every person like they are family, and our wedding day was no exception. Everything was perfect from the venue, food (which is out of this world), and the staff willing to help with anything that is needed. We truly feel like we are part of The Gathered family forever and are so happy with our choice. We cannot say enough about this perfect venue.
