The very best company I have ever worked for. Was a great place to learn the trade and to really feel part of a team. Their products and workmanship is the highest quality. If you don't believe me then call them or go to the website and see for yourself.

Although Guy was quick with email replies, he took forever in finally getting the gate installed (months). When it was installed, I was NOT overly impressed with the quality of the gate, and felt it was definitely over priced. The gate itself looks fine, but it was not the gate we ordered. The initial measurements he took were off as well, and resolved it with a "Mickey mouse" fix. I also had the impression that he just wanted to race through the installation, get it done, and move on to the next job. One last thing, Guy never went through the trouble to do a final clean up of the gate; or, do a final inspection with us...just sent us an email of when he can pick up his final cheque. His wife came by to pick up the cheque and I addressed the issue. She informed me that she will pass it on to Guy, which I'm sure she did. My cheque was processed the same day and I never heard from Guy again. Overall, I'm satisfied with the look of the gate but it's all the little disappointing things that drowned out the satisfaction.

One of the worst company, I have ever dealt with in my life. The owner comes across as arrogant putting down the work of other trades on my property. While discussing the scope of the project, the notes he took were vague so that he did not have to complete all the items that were verbally agreed upon. At one point, he actually yelled at me over the phone at which point I hung up and was then reprimanded to not hang up on him again. When the gate stopped working due to wind damage, we made appointments to which he would not show up and then the excuses came that he has not time. We were even willing to pick up a new motor and install it ourselves but a year later the gate is still broken.

I have phone records, emails, text messages, photos and witnesses to support my statements should anyone wish to see them. In all my 37 years of home renovations I have never encountered any tradesman more frustrating than Guy. His communications are minimal and his customer support is non-existent. His website is the same - no information about installation or product specs or design. I told him we had to comply with our Strata such that a gate must match the existing fence. For the site visit, I was waiting inside the house, but he came and left without telling me he was here so there was no chance to ask questions on site. When asked for specifics regarding location and design for the concrete support pad that he told us we had to prepare for him, he sent a hand-drawn 2 dimensional sketch of just a rectangle with a line through it - no information on height, location, rebar support etc. It was only when I phoned him to clarify that he mentioned we needed a second pad - not sure when I would have heard about that if I hadn't phoned. The product he installed did not match the fence at all - it had the wrong size mesh, had diagonal struts and too many upright posts etc. It was also too high above the driveway so my dogs and rabbits could just slip underneath but he did not offer any compensation for his errors.. He is too arrogant to believe he has any role in customer dissatisfaction even though he loves to talk about all his problems with other customers! Avoid this company!!

My experience working with Guy was a great one. My residential gate had stopped working. I called in the am and he stopped by the same day after work on another job in the area. He was extremely knowledgeable and thorough in finding the problem and fixed it for a very reasonable charge. Highly recommended!
