Just gas and coffee. Was not sitting to eat in the other parts of the fuel station

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been commuting from Glaslyn to where I work. Showed up 6:58am and the lady opening the store stared at me and wouldn’t open the door two minutes early. Guess they must have money pouring in so I’ll take my business elsewhere. I now fill my tank at Cochin and highly recommend you do as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was craving a "small town burger". You know, a beef patty not manufactured by a machine. Pressed meat into a cloud-shaped patty, but something formed by hand. The restaurant at the Gas Plus is the only restaurant I'd seen in the tiny village of Glaslyn, so with hours to kill, I stopped for lunch.
The service was quick and friendly. The waitress/cook was all smiles. I placed my order, the lunch special, a bacon cheeseburger, fries & a Diet Pepsi. It was in the can and she placed a cloudy plastic cup next to it. The cup was gross, but I used it anyway. I didn't want to be rude. Then came the burger.
Oh my god! The burger was everything I'd hoped. Delicious. Moist, but with a thin crust. It was perfect. Until I got the bill. For the few fries I got w/ the splash of gravy, plus the burger and canned soda cost me over $15.00. YES, the burger was everything I'd hoped and YES the food was piping hot, but NOT fifteen dollars worth.
Suffice it to say, it's a quaint place to visit. Decent food, I would assume, if the bacon burger was any indication. I'd recommend it to anyone. Unless you're a cheapskate, like me, then you may want to pack a sandwich.
