★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have to say that they have really gone down hill. I had breakfast there the other day and one of my pancakes was raw in the middle, my sausage was so over cooked that it was crunchy in the middle and inedible, and the bacon was not crispy. The wait staff however is lovely and it is a comfortable restaurant with some cushy wingback chairs and a fireplace at the back. I used to go there for a dependable meal that was similar to home cooking but I'm not sure I will go back after this visits poor quality food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The prices are outrageous. A quesadilla for 20$ no thanks . They are 16$ at bayside which has a view at least . The Menus are a sheet of paper and nothing more ... everything was so overpriced I ended up getting the cheapest thing . BLT for 16$ The toast was dry and the bacon only 3 slices maybe and very over cooked .. hurt my teeth.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Two primary reasons created this rating. Firstly; when ordering takeout; that one is going to pick-up, the price per meal is approximately $4.50 higher than the menu price listed on the internet. Secondly; and most important, one realizes that the food that is being sent out from the restaurant is the food that would never be served to customers in the restaurant. The reason why....customers in the restaurant would NEVER accept the food that is being sent out as "take out" food. This is a perfect way to eliminate any unacceptable food - simply send it out to customers who by the time they're ready to consume it simply throw it in the garbage. We recently ordered 3 orders of single piece cod fish and chips along with an order of chicken strips with chips, the bill for the four meals was over $76.00 and when the food containers were opened the "food" went directly into the recycle bin. Thank you Gary's. As a long time customer of your facilities I'm sorry to say our relationship has come to an end. I do hope other customers are smart enough NOT to experience the same thing we did. By the way; this was the second time within a month that the same thing was experienced.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fair. We had breakfast here in August and it was amazing so I was happy to come back for lunch on a rainy day. Staff was amazing so we started with coffee and Baileys as was the daily special suggested on a cool day. I had shrimp and avocado croissant which should have been lettuce, tomato, croissant and a few shrimp in mayo, so disappointing ? .Great choice of sides and I went for the beef and barley soup. Very tasty but it should be barley soup with a tiny tiny bit of beef. Hubby said his Greek chicken burger was okay but sloppy. Again, our server was very friendly and attentive but the food today didn’t have the quality as last time.

Nice place with excellent staff.
Great decor if your a gear head.
Nice high back chairs at some tables.
A small sidewalk patio.
Had the Fish and Chips, which
alas where just fair.
A bit undercooked,
the batter was still gooey on the inside
and Cod was just warm.
$5 Liquor specials every day.
Other meals going by looked great.
