Garderie Centre d'Imagination

Bonjour, Depuis le changement de propriétaire on a vu la qualité se dégrader. Je connais bien la garderie que je fréquenTAIS depuis presque 5 ans. La qualité des communications: comment expliquer qu'on ne soit pas avisé de l'arrêt du service des déjeuners chauds ( payant au demeurant)? On envoi donc nos enfants le ventre vide à la garderie ayant confiance qu'il soit nourri adéquatement. On découvre plusieurs mois plus tard , par hasard au cours de la réunion annuelle du comité des parents de la garderie que ce n'est plus le cas... la seule justification : on a arrêté de vous charger ! Pendant la pandémie, aucune communication n'a été reçu concernant les mesures. ( email ou autre moyen) Une nouvelle directrice est arrivée: on ne nous l'a jamais présentée et on a découvert son titre lors de cette fameuse rencontre et cela à notre demande. Concernant l'alimentation : les menus affichés à la porte n'étaient pas respectés depuis le départ de la dernière cuisinière qui était là depuis des années... encore une fois pas de communication à cet égard. Les repas manquaient de protéines et de légumes, j'en veux pour preuve les troubles de transit observés chez mes enfants ( pas les seuls) et une perte de poids ou prise minime. On ne peut pas compenser le soir les apports de toute une journée. Ma fille m'a rapporté avoir mangé : des toasts et des crêpes le midi , après validation c'était le cas : 3 excuses différentes ont été invoquées. Aucun projet éducatif claire. J'apprend en juin que ma fille s'amuse plutôt que de manger pendant les repas et qu'elle refuse de manger du pain quand elle n'apprécie pas le repas ( est ce que le pain est supposé être un repas? ) Aucune mesure n'a été prise ou discussion avec moi depuis tout ce temps , est ce normal? Cette remarque intervient après que j'ai fait remarqué que ma fille a pris 700 grammes en 1 an !!! Retrouver les enfants à l'extérieur , en plein soleil, par grosse chaleur (35 degrés Celsius ) avec pour seul rafraichissement : un spray d'eau !!!! Retrouver l'hiver ses enfants littéralement gelés ( mains froides et visages froids .... ) alors qu'ils étaient dans la garderie , en mettant le chauffage dans la voiture le temps d'arriver ( 20 min de route ) retrouver une température adéquat ...est ce normal ? Pour toutes ces raisons et j'en oubli cela a été un soulagement de quitter. J'aurais aimé que vous n'ayez pas à vous excuser mais plutôt que vous soyez à la hauteur de la mission qu'on vous confie à savoir prendre soin de nos trésors et que vous fassiez le travail pour lequel on paye. On ne fait pas d'économie sur la santé et la sécurité des enfants!

Cette garderie est remplie d'amour et de bienveillance. Mes échanges avec la direction ont toujours été cordiales et respectueux. Ils sont à l'écoute. Il est facile de voir que le bien-être des enfants est au coeur de leurs décisions. Ils offrent des ateliers interessants et les éducatrices sont merveilleuses!

The daycare has really wonderful educators team!

Before anything, I have to say that we have mixed feelings about taking out son out of this daycare. Taking a child out of the only environment he knew outside of his home from 6 to 33 months isn't easy and we were very grateful for some of the wonderful educators who took care of our son. It is very unfortunate that they have to contend with such poor leadership from the owner of this daycare. Sadly, dealing with the owner is as inevitable as it is unpleasant. The standard of quality of service of the daycare has been steadily decreasing. Out of respect for anyone reading this, I won't provide an exhaustive list, I will say that inconsistency in food quality and tremendous difficulties in communicating (both in terms of content as well as professionalism) have been at the very top of a long list of concerns noted throughout the last year and a half. Although it is very unfortunate my son won't get to benefit from the stability and care of some of his educators up until grade school, I have no regrets for having taken him out. The lackluster leadership exhibited by the owner, unfortunately overshadows some of the wonderful work done by his staff. (Staff he inherited) Thank you to all the educators who were wonderful to our son. I sincerely wish you the best and genuinely empathize with the daily challenges you have to contend with

My son has been in this daycare since he was 6months old. I have never felt more at home and ease then the day that he started that daycare in May 2019. Unfortunately I had to remove him this year NOT because of the educators that were so loving and wonderful but because of the administration. The change of ownership has brought the worst to that daycare : quality of food (not nutritive), poor communication, poorly organized and little to NO respect. In order for my son to leave this daycare, I have asked numerous times to the owner for the attestation letter which he refused  to give to us. I had called the owner to tell him that I would be coming that day to pick it up. In his office, I explained to him that I absolutely need this paper. He refused and said that because I have not signed the presence sheet of September 2020, he could not give me the attestation. A presence sheet that sent to us by email in June 2021!!! I explained to him that although I don't agree with this method I would sign but need the attestation right away because the new daycare needs it for my son to start the next day. He walked away of his office and said we are going in circles, I am asking you to leave now. He came back 15min later with the police who actually agreed with my demand and had to make him give us the paper. I believe that such an attitude is incompatible with being in charge of kids!!

This child care center has continuously impressed our family. The building is in a wonderful calm location by the water and the children often go for walks. The child care and safety of the children has never ceased to impress us. They always feed the children excellent homecooked food. They are very attentive to the child's needs and continue to stimulate them mentally. Overall very satisfied.

Amazing daycare, teachers and staff are so loving, kind and friendly. The activities are very stimulating for my soon to be two year old. Many different classes (gym, dance, music) they do creative arts and crafts, try to go play outside as much as possible. Everything is very well structured with monthly schedules for food and activities. Management is available and professional. I recommend 100%!!
