★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friends of my family arrived at that train station December 24th 1942. They were on their honeymoon and the town was in the middle of an ice storm. They remember sliding down the hill after exiting the train on their suit cases. Wonderful memories of a soldier on leave with his young wife.
