★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely gallery in the historic 401 Richmond St West building. You can join as a member and use their facilities, which has one of the last remaining darkrooms around. There are workshops and scanning equipment for members.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you’re in the vicinity for another purpose, e.g. you arrive early for a business meeting, this Gallery 44 will use up 5-10 minutes. The gallery is relatively small compared to the building which houses it. A quick “in and out” is all you need (free entrance). There are other small galleries on the same floor and building. A day trip is not recommended for this gallery.
