Little story... Had some work done on my truck with these folks! Picked it up and i didn't make it home. I was pretty sure what the problem was so i wasn't too worried. I live about an hour from the shop so it's a bit of a hassle to go there but i heard they have a good reputation! I left the truck on the road where it died which was close to my house. I called in the morning, explained the situation and within an hour Doyle and his mechanic that actually did the work on the truck were there and they fixed it on the spot. They helped me get my truck home as i had 2 vehicles there. I've been in and around the auto/truck business my whole life and have never seen that kind of service and commitment. Of course, in the short time i've been dealing with him and having that happen i got to know Doyle a bit and must say he is a 'no bullshit character" and i love that. He ain't gonna blow any smoke up your ass a trait which is very rare in the business! I'll certainly be back when i need more work done but the problem is i have a Dodge Cummins making that unlikely to happen anytime soon...LOL Thanks Doyle and Catherine and Mech(s)!

Doyle’s shop is a great place to bring European diesels. You will pay for his expertise, but that’s how it should be. Don’t let just anyone work on your diesel. Doyle brought my 2003 VW TDi with over 400,000km back from the dead.

They want $67 per bottle of Rev-X when you can get 2 bottles for $90 2 mins down the road at Bandit Diesel.

They lack expertise with 6.4 Powerstroke and as a result aren't able to provide the best advice. Their moto is "diesel done right" however Doyle did not make it right when he failed to provide expert service on my truck. They are honest and will give you the best advice based on what they know. Unfortunately this resulted in me doing a head gasket job on a worn out engine. The lip on the cylinder should have resulted in them advising a whole new long block. I ended up throwing $8500 out the window only to have the engine start knocking less than 800 km down the road. This was 800 km on my 3200 km move. I hadn't even paid off the bill from Fuel when my engine was being replaced and my head gasket job being rendered useless. In addition, it was never recommended that I bench test my injectors. I was later told that this is essential since doing a major job like head gaskets, testing the injectors is a key quality step. As it turns out, 3 of my injectors we over fueling and needed to be replaced. The pictures show the cylinder wall scoring on the number 1 and 5 cylinders 4000 km after the head gasket job. The wrist pin was knocking on number 5, so it would not explain the scoring on number 1. The wrist pin failure was not their fault, however the wear and testing of the injectors (which would indicate over fueling and explain the burn pattern given the stock tune that I ran) should have resulted in a recommendation to replace with a long block. Perhaps Doyle is more knowledgeable with 6.0's and Cummings. Pictures of the head gasket showing failure between the water jackets are below. The head was fire-ringed and ARP head studs were also added. I don't feel that either of these were well advised considering the fact that the head still failed (just not into the cylinder) and almost immediately. All pictures were taken approximately 4000 km after the head gasket, fire ring and ARP studs were installed.
