j	janis cheung on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s nearly impossible to get a table at a restaurant in Toronto on a Saturday night if you don’t have reservations, so I went here on a whim because they had a table avail….And I’m so thrilled to have come here! The food is impeccable. It was quick, super fresh and the portions are a great size. Probably one of the best Mexican resto/bars in the city. It had a fun vibe and definitely a place for a date or with a group of friends. You won’t be disappointed.
R	Rebecca Scourfield on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice staff and atmosphere. Really good margarita! I had a burrito and it was so incredibly spicy. I wish they had asked me how spicy I wanted the salsa because I couldn't really eat it due to it being too spicy. Quite a shame as it wasn't cheap.

The taco tortillas are just like in the authentic street taco joints somewhere in CDMX or Guadalajara. Asked for a sauce spicy enough it will make me nostalgic. Got some extra orange thick sauce (my guess it is habanero?), überspicy and sooooo flavourful. Immediately got a flashback to my days in Mexico. I even shed a silent tear. Well, mostly because the sauce was that hot! It’s a game changer, but beware it’s on a hotter side. Would love to see an option tacos al pastor, if you plan to expand the number of protein options in the future.

Just wish it was a teeny bit larger as it can get too crowded but that's a personal taste thing and not really on them when they have a business to run. Would recommend easily

I was recommended Frisaca by some friends before moving down to Toronto and quickly fell in-love. I'd say I'm very particular with my food and Frisaca's dishes go above and beyond all expectations. There's tons of flavour within each dish, the homemade/authentic quality cannot be matched. On-top of the amazing food is incredibly kind and good hearted owner. I've become a regular customer and it's always great to be recognized and have a catch up. Frisaca is my Friday meal pick-up and I can't wait to introduce more of my friends to the experience!

I had the tacos which were nice and good value but lacked a bit of flavour and punch. My partner had a burrito and we aren't sure if it said it was spicy on the menu but it was almost inedible and she's good with spice. Maybe put that spicy sauce on the side as it ruined the burrito which otherwise would have been really nice. So I would recommend it to anyone who wants a fun night with music and a buzzing atmosphere but wouldn't if you are looking for above average flavours.
