★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Arboretum has trees from all over the world there. Wonderfull walking trails. A breath of fresh air in the middle of Ottawa.The Experimental Farm has a wonderful flower garden and Agrcultural Museum with farm animals.

fantastic place for kids and keep an eye on the canal if you walk down that way

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went by for the Autumn in the Arboretum activities. It was a slightly gloomy day, but the activities were in full swing, with tents at each area. They had a craft table, music man, photobooth, gourd hunt, photo area and prize apples for completing the activities. We took about 1hr to do it all and be ready to head home, which was good because the weather wasnt too great. Our only disappointment was, we got there at 11:45am and all the glass blown pumpkins were already sold out, so there was not longer a pumpkin patch viewing... which was the main highlight we were looking forward to. I guess we'll have to get there at opening next year!
