I’ll start off by saying that I love Free Form Fitness in Ottawa! They specialize in personal training and nutrition. The highly qualified trainers will do anything to make sure the clients are satisfied, get results and achieve their goals. The staff is excellent and will motivate you! I recently started the bootcamp training there and I’ve never felt better. I have a back injury but the trainer makes sure to provide alternatives and customize the session to cater my needs. It doesn’t get any better than this. You can sign up at any other gym but you will not get the quality, results and experience that you get at Free Form Fitness. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to transform themselves, be healthy and looking for a good challenge!

My experience with Free Form Fitness's new location in the Glebe area has been amazing. Ashley along with her dedicated and talented team of trainers have had a lasting impression on my introduction to the fitness world. I was recommended by a girlfriend who lives in the area and it's been a positive change in my life. They are professional, classy and hard workers that are driven to help me succeed. I look forward to my workouts twice a week. Thank you Free Form.

Amazing gym and great trainers. Riley is an incredible PT, she has a lot of knowledge to share and she goes above and beyond for her clients. Gym is very clean, this location manager is kind and helpful and its a very welcoming environment. 10/10 recommend for those needing personal training.

I generally find it really hard to stay motivated to work out, especially when I'm tired after work, so I'm really glad a coworker recommended FFF on Dalhousie. I work out with Jesse 2-3 times a week and he is the absolute best. Really encouraging, incredibly knowledgable about fitness and diet, very accommodating of any injuries or challenge areas, and just great to chat to when I'm trying to power through some planks or squats. I find a lot of gyms and trainers really intimidating and "bro-y" (for lack of a better term), but I've never felt intimated at FFF as a woman who's just beginning bodyweight training and lifting. Jesse is also great with developing a program if I say I want to work on a specific fitness goal, and we can work together to achieve it. I don't think I would have ever had the courage to try some of the exercises that I can now do regularly without FFF. After lockdown ended I was SO excited to get back to the gym (Me! Excited to go to the gym! Woah!). Thank-you to Jesse and the team, excited to keep getting stronger!

My wife and I have been going to Free Form Fitness in the ByWard Market for six years (joint sessions). Ryan Brown has been our trainer for most of that time, and still is. Ryan has been outstanding and knows exactly how train us 70+ year olds!!!! We can highly recommend Free Form Fitness.

Edit: I went to Free form for a drop in, though the trainer of the HIIT class I did was patient and scaled down the workout. At the end of the class I talked to the owner and told twice I will pay and start coming in regularly, she told she will email me and let me know, but that never happened. Owner and other people are rude. I wanted to give them a 1 star and not write a review, but they replied here that they couldnt find me in their database, probably because they didnt want to put it in there. Why would I email them to talk about anything. when they have not .. Good news is there are plenty of gyms in the town

Gym where you train with a personal trainer. Each personal trainer as a different style and you get matched with the personal trainer closest to your needs and personality. I had some success here in 2011-2012, but after a quick weight loss I ended up gaining the weight back even while still training here. I didn’t appreciate their membership format. I noticed Free Form Fitness train their personal trainers with their « health and fitness knowledgeΒ Β» and it feels they push this way of thinking to their customers. Some of their advices are not accurate for all and you would be better served getting the knowledge from the appropriate professional. I’m no longer sure the value provided by Free Form Fitness fits my needs.

I have been training with Jesse at FFF in the Byward Market for over 3 years. He is a wonderful trainer: positive, supportive, and delivers results. I not only have seen changes in my physical appearance, but my knowledge of my own body and its strength and potential has expanded greatly. On top of that, I now consider myself someone that really enjoys the gym, something I never thought I would have said 3 years ago. I also had the pleasure of getting some work-outs with Ryan, who was also great and pushes you to your limits! These guys know what they are doing! Highly recommend.
