Beautiful little area! It has a small trail that is a loop. Right now it is closed off because of winter maintenance I believe. However, it is nice just to park and watch the birds. A very calming place to go

Great, but if your coming to feed the birds, good luck as everyone always just throws food at them. So you might have a hard time getting one to eat out of your hands ?. Other then that. It's a great place to be!

Very pretty area. Boardwalk was closed, so we couldn’t go very far. Broken glass everywhere so not great for little kids.

I really enjoyed this park! Little bit of history beautifully displayed on Lake Ontario. People with SUP's, canoes, and swimmers. The trail the winds along Forty Mile Creek is kinda great but could have issues for those with kids. There is a lot of broken glass, some of it could be old, but just something to keep an eye out for. Part of the trail is posted as Closed because of a bridge that looks a little old. Use at your own risk! Saw a Kingfisher looking for food which was a nice surprise. Many ducks, gulls, and a few geese.

Loved the hiking trail just off the parking lot of 40 mile creek. Its not a long trail but its so scenic and crosses a wooden bridge that is closed but passable..a couple of the planks are damaged. The bridge is stable. The sides of the trail are ablaze with dame rocket and other wild flowers. There is a gorgeous wooden teepee lean-to dedicated to Terrabita that is fun to check out. Its a great starting point for a loop hike to nearby Beamers falls. Around 9.3km return.
