★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Idris was ideal to deal with till 2 years ago. Last year he missed the appointment and didn't get back to me for a while.. this year I decided to give him another shot. The 30 minute call took less than 5 minutes. Then he sent me the document to review and I said I'll review and get back to you. After I reviewed and sent my comments back to him I realized that he had filed the taxes already. Then went silent for almost 2 weeks and when he got back to me he said we'll amend the return first week of may. Tried getting hold of him first week of may, and no luck. He got back to me after 2 weeks saying that he will work on the file the following week. Today is may 26 and guess what? Still nothing. 2 lessons learned here, 1- this business is simply too busy now that they don't care about paying attention to details and all they care about is how many returns they can file in a day. 2- tax season is over and they don't care about what they missed filing for their clients. I wouldn't recommend going to them. The business has gone downhill.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have been doing our taxes with Fortress for three years now. They are quick and efficient when going through the tax information. The one area that I've had trouble with is returning calls after the appointment, and some disorganization when it comes to setting up the appointment (no zoom link was sent prior to our appointment, and once it was, the meeting ended up starting about 20 minutes late). Other than those administrative issues the taxes themselves have been handled well in my opinion.
