Fort Garry Industries was founded as Fort Garry Tire & Vulcanizing in 1919 in Winnipeg, MB. We proudly celebrated 100 years of business in 2019.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Often, the customer with the least to spend is also the most difficult. I was that customer when I went to Fort Garry. I brought my old dodge truck, and asked for a shiny new deck. I didn't want to pay anything, and wanted everything done my way.
I couldn't be more happy with how the guys at Fort Garry took care of me. The price was reasonable, the work was done fast and well. When I came back with fussy complaints, they were dealt with promptly, and without so much as a grumble.
I'm rarely happy with work that I have done for me, but the work these guys did was superb. You won't find a single butt connector in their wiring, and everything will be properly tied up with split loom and cable ties. Whether it be steel work, or electrical, they certainly aren't shy to go the extra mile to give their work that little bit of extra polish.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This particular FGI has went downhill over the last 7 years since the old Manager retired. The staff are helpful but now they almost never have anything in stock and always have to "transfer" from another location. You are better off shopping at Gregg Distributors down the road where they are actually capable of keeping stock in their building and have competent management!!! Save yourself the headache and do your shopping elsewhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very negative environment, no one is really interested in helping you and don't seem like they want to be there. Stopped in at 5 and everyone was leaving as the line was building up, would recommend getting yours parts anywhere else but Fort Garry. Maxim Truck and Trailer has always been very helpful, even on weekends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really like dealing with Sarah, Nadine and Diane, they have lots of knowledge, very helpful and work hard. down side is trying to get one on the phone is near impossible. they have a good selection of parts but that doesn't mean that the pickers will fill the order either.
