I had an issue with an F350 on the rear end because a tire shop across from ken decided to heat the aluminum wheels to remove them off the truck. This caused the seals to melt and with that serious leaks started happening. I met Ken and immediately noticed he is an honest and Genuine guy. Ever since then I have been bringing vehicles and reccomending him to friends. On one occasion the part that was installed malfunctioned and he immediately warranty it! Other shops would of said it was something else and made money off of it.. So yes 5 star rating, and he is by far one of the best shops and mechanics around!

This place was highly recommended for their good quality work, ....so I was told. I went it the first time for a repair and had fixed the issue. Is not a safety related repair, so I am not overly concerned. But recently, I experienced another problem after I drove my vehicle into the curb due to icy road condition which damaged the wheel control arm assembly for one of the front wheel. So I called and explained my incident, and then had the control arm assembly repaired. As I drove the car immediately after the repair, it had this humming and druming noise. My good neighbor is a car mechanic and so I had him did a road test and he figure it is caused by the damage wheel bearings. He inspected the front wheel which is the one that had ran into the curb and noticed the wheel had not been rotated to the back as he said it is a good practice to do so. He suggested that it needs to be rotated. And after he helped me removed the tire for rotation. He looked at the repaired control arm assembly which supposed to be fastened tightly by a number of bolts. Well, he shown me two main bolts which can easily been seen immediately that are only half screwed in. It was so loose that I was able to turn it with my fingers. He found yet another bolt that required a pin lock. There was no pin lock in it, because whoever repaired it was too lazy to removed the broken pin that still remained inside the thread. My neighbor told me due to these unsecured bolts and nuts, the control arm assembly will definitely be loosen and the control arm assemble will drop which will cause a very serious incident when the vehicle is being running on the road. So here is a summary of why I need to write this review to highlight the poor repair quality and unsafe work they had performed on my repair with them and sincerely hope it will never happened again for other people. And to warned anyone who had read my long review to decided to have them repair your vehicle or not especially with any safety related repairs. But at the very least, do double check and inspect their work if you can. Not to be trusted. Here is a summary of issues. 1. They definitely never inspect they work. 2. They never test drive my car after repair to validate their repair or to see if other related issues need fixing. Otherwise they would had noticed the humming and drumming of noise caused the damaged wheel bearings. My conclusion, ...I will never had them work on my vehicles again.

I've been doing my car's oil change and other minor repairs with Mr. Ken and his team for a couple of years now. Excellent service you can trust for a reasonable price. I recommend calling his shop in advance and schedule your visit. The service is speedy and staff is friendly. Their reception room is comfortable with TV, free coffee and free Wi-Fi connection. They have a couple of rare collector's cars that add an extra charm to the place. I highly recommend this place.

I had my 1987 Honda prelude serviced here and it was impressive, Ken had found parts for my car when i couldn’t on top of that he fixed it within a timely manner. I would recommend this shop to everyone if they want a job done right.

Ken is such an honest guy! He did an amazing job with my vehicle and explained everything to me.

Formula Auto came as a trusted referral. Especially Eugene, he was absolutely EXCEPTIONAL in their service to me and my husband after a not-at-fault accident. There was minor body damage the vehicle that insurance approved us for, but due to the existing mechanical issues the shop advised us that it is probably best to get a cash settlement, rather than to fix cosmetic issues when the car may have more problems in the future. He helped us navigate through this convoluted process with insurance even before the shop has received payment for services. As a small business owner myself, this speaks volumes. UPDATE MARCH 4, 2022 In this appointment, Ken replaced two of my fouling cylinder coils and did an engine flush to try to remove the carbon build up on two of my valves. He knows his exotic engines to a tee and it's very comforting when I leave his shop knowing that my engine is running properly. His prices are fair and his workmanship far exceeds anything that the Benz dealerships in this city have to offer...hands down. Further to that, he shows you the failed parts that came out of the vehicle confirming that he actually did perform the work as promised. And he shows you this right at the vehicle in his shop. Not like the Benz service mechanics that cannot prove that they even changed the parts or performed the wheel alignment. They just like to bill you and you are supposed to shut up and trust them. That's the main reason I come to have Ken @ Formula Auto do my work. It allows me to sleep at night knowing that I got a fair deal for my money. --------------------------------- --------------------------------- First Review I was lucky to be referred to this shop a year ago, and my vehicle service has never been better. Ken is the owner and he gets the job done in a timely fashion and delivers quality workmanship. He has 40 years experience and it quite clearly shows. I had been getting my wheel alignments done on my Benz right at Mercedes itself and immediately after an alignment I brought it to Ken. He put it on his machine and showed me how out of align it was. So my suspicions were verified that Mercedes were clearly ripping me off. To rectify the situation, I had Ken perform a wheel alignment and now the car drives straight and handles better than it ever did prior. He also provided a before and after printout for my records. Great guy, great service, fair pricing. I highly recommend Formula Auto.
