Forbes Psychological Services takes pride in the fact that we are responsive and innovative in meeting the needs of the client.  Forbes Psychological Services uses a short-term, goal directed therapy model for counselling.  While using a short-term therapy model Forbes Psychological Services recognizes that every client needs to be considered unique and are assessed and dealt with on an as needed basis, allowing for the individual needs of each client to be met.  Forbes Psychological Services accomplishes this in a manner that maintains dignity and self worth.  We believe that every client is entitled to the highest quality of service provided by the most highly trained, experienced and qualified counsellors and staff who are dedicated to meeting and exceeding our clients’ expectations for service.

Forbes Psychological Services is committed to observing the highest level of confidentiality.  Information obtained in counselling sessions is held in confidence and will not be released without written permission except under certain risk and/or legal conditions.  However, this is not the only area of concern for many clients.  Forbes Psychological Services takes every measure to ensure that the identity of our clients is not compromised when dealing with phone conversations, confirmation of appointments, reception area and general office procedures.

Forbes Psychological Services operating philosophy in general is that we must always be aware of the needs and concerns of our clients and that they must, whenever possible, be met to the client’s expectations and beyond.
