★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Flying J's are generally pretty great and this one is no exception. Bonus points for staff wearing masks, half point off for the mask not covering the nose. And another half off for not having tap at the till. That means no apple or Google pay either. Kind of weird in this day and age. Its like not having voicemail.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Interesting giant signs for mandatory masks required but dont enforce it? Employees dont care. If you worry about covid DO NOT GO HERE every disinfectant provider is broken or not filled.
Bi-law be interested in this. This isnt a 1 time occurance i travel through alot

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hello, I arrived in Whitecourt in early December 2020, since that time, I've frequently went to Flying J whitecourt.
I've enjoyed the food, showers(easily the cleanest in the region) and while I was injured, i was able to request the physical difficulties shower. Flying J has everything you could need and use while road traveling and overloading, from 12v blankets to 12v cooking pots and pans, CB radios, Clothes, Real foods made to order fresh, great and friendly staff( I know my frequent visits and sleeping in their parking lot for a few months was somewhat offputting) but as I'm leaving soon, I felt it best to upload pictures and provide information for my fellow travelers, Van lifers and overlanders of Alberta and Canada.
Thank you Flying J.. From BC to Alberta, you kept me alive, well and showered

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well others weren't kidding when they said this place has the best showers ever, even washrooms are a delight. Amazing staff and plenty of parking is just the cherry on top. The best Flying J I have ever been to so far.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This has to be one of the cleanest and nicest staffed travel centers not only in Alberta, but Canada... Staff is so polite and professional, fuel islands are clean, store , restroom and shower are immaculate... Amazing.. thank you

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped for the night. Very clean truck parking lot. Got a slice of pizza. Very good pizza!! Friendly staff. Cheap wifi access. Not to busy. Plenty of room to park all night. Recommend stopping there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really cool store with a bunch of stuff that would assist people living on the road. I was only in the convenience store but the lady working there was very friendly and I assumed during the day they have warm food like pizza. They had in-house made sandwiches and warm breakfast sandwiches when I was in there. The bathrooms were really nice and clean and actually had an industrial hand cleaner in the ladies which was really cool.
