She is very skilled and knowledgeable about the body, physically and mentally and knows how to treat common ailments successfully. When I first met her it was upon the recommendation of my family doctor. Dr. Blanks spent the time needed to listen to the concerns and come up with a comprehensive treatment plan to address the issue. I started to feel much better after following her course of treatment and have continued to improve my health. I will continue to choose naturopathic medicine as my private health care more often than western medicine. Overall, I highly recommend Dr. Blanks and her team at Flourish as skilled and compassionate professionals.

I was hesitant about seeing a naturopath, but also ready to try anything to feel better. I was so impressed by Dr. Shannon's depth of knowledge, and it wasn't long before she helped figure out what I needed to be doing to feel better. She also supported me through my first, and now second, pregnancy. Having her there to answer my questions, and provide advice has made my pregnancies so much healthier and easier - I really couldn't imagine not having her be a part of my 'pregnancy team.' I feel so fortunate to have found Dr. Shannon, and think everyone would benefit from seeing her.

Dr.Shannon created such a warm and healing space for me to feel comfortable opening up about the many layers of my health and wellbeing. She helped me make long term diet changes using her food as medicine approach that have helped me improve my quality of life and provided me with delicious recipes and supportive coaching a long the way. She is an excellent and intuitive acupuncturist and always make me feel cared for.
