About Fledglings Educare Centre Inc
The management and staff of Fledglings Educare believe that a day care centre should be an integral part of the community in which it is situated and that mutual trust and respect between staff, parents and children is essential to attain this.
We believe that children learn best by doing, by exploring their world using all their senses, and we believe that play is the foundation of all learning.
Our Objectives
- To provide an accepting, safe and nurturing learning environment for the children in our care.
- To promote the holistic development of the child by providing a balance of teacher- and child-led activities which focus on all aspects of the child’s development: social, emotional, physical, intellectual and creative.
- To work closely with the parents as the primary caregivers of their children and provide effective methods of communication to help build our relationships with them.
- To maintain a calm and disciplined atmosphere by using positive guidance techniques such as redirection and problem solving.
- To encourage the children’s own exploration of their environment by providing a variety of opportunities for experimentation and discovery.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not only are the staff at Fledglings caring and personable, but the director runs the business in a very professional and efficient manner. We always feel that our children are safe and well cared for. Our oldest is in the after school care group, and we love the convenient option of the van picking her up from school. We recommend Fledglings to our friends in the neighbourhood and we’ve even recommended them to family who bring their kid from another community. Weather permitting, the kids always get lots of time outside, with special theme days in the summer like bike days, STEM days, splash days, etc. Our kids love it and we do too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My two children have been attending Fledglings for almost 2 years now. It is their second home and they enjoy attending every day. The staff is incredibly experienced, professional and show so much dedication in providing the best learning environment. The space is clean, organized and is always being updated with new activities/games. The bussing service for before/after school care is very reliable and they are diligent with safety protocols. I enjoy the digital app used for updates on my son who is in the toddler program. Honestly, this childcare centre is the best in the neighbourhood!

I know many parents who want to take their kids out of Fledgelings because the kids don't want to go. Stay way. Believe the fake reviews and a few months later please reply to me apologizing for not believing me. Stay. Away.

They are dedicated, loving, flexible and provide the best care. I can not recommend this team highly enough.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My 3.5 year old daughter started at Fledglings in October 2019, after attending a day home since she was 1 year old. I have noticed a significant improvement in her (already impressive) language skills, socialization, and memory. Every single employee at Fledgling's is positive and patient with all of the children. My daughter is always greeted with a smile, and given a hug at the end of the day. Making this change for her was one of the best decisions I have made in her development and care.
