★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful experience with trails everywhere throughout a picturesque surrounding including a wonderful pond to walk around. Huge ballfield for games and tournaments with covered picnic area with BBQ table, playground for kids and benches everywhere to help you rest. Huge parking lots to accommodate so many cars and pre covid the ballfield has a vendor cook shack to serve hot food so soon they will again I hope.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a serene, sylvan, and gorgeous 1.83 km walking trail. It’s perfect for walking at any pace. One can commune with nature (the local fauna seem to be completely domesticated) whilst getting in shape. Fishtrap Creek is one of Abbotsford’s (relatively) hidden treasures.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this place. The trails are so user-friendly the people we are meeting are fantastic and the scenery is absolutely to die for. I like to go everyday for at least a couple of kilometres on a good day we go a lot further down Discovery Trail and back again and it is so wonderful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Needs some repairs currently as the boardwalk floated out of position during the recent floods. A nice easy walk with plenty of width for passing safely. The pond the other side of the road also offered a change of scenery but access from parking is more difficult. The walk out areas are great for wildlife. We love spotting turtles.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An oasis in the middle of the city. It is easy to get there as there are entrances from the north or south. Lots of trees and some picnic tables. A paved trail goes around the park. The pond, covered in lily pads, has a covered outlook extending into the water. In the heart of the park the sound of traffic is hushed by the trees and bushes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went here for a nice walk with my partner; great views and a well-maintained trail make for a lovely walk, although if the city added a few more garbage bins along the trail it would probably clean up the litter a bit. Overall though, this is a great place to go spend time outdoors at any age.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ideal for short Hikes with trails around the lake . The park is more of natural one than a landscaped look. The tunnel of trees and the short shrub area was really beautiful.
