★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing little cabin tucked away in the mountains. 6.6 Km from the nearest parking area along a trail that is an easy hike (1.5 to 2 hours) or a bit of an uphill cycle. Perfect place to bring your kids for a nights camping. I went with a couple of dads and 8 kids, ranging from 7 to 12 years old, and we had a fantastic time.
The hut is in great condition and well maintained. There are bunks for 18 people and a wood burning stove for warmth. Wood is provided and there are fire pits and camping areas outside. There is also an axe provided as you will need to chop your own wood. A very clean outdoor toilet is available, about 20 m from the cabin.
Space in the cabin is on a 'first come, first served' basis and the cost is $15 per person, or $30 per family.
The lake is full of cutthroat trout and catching a few for dinner is pretty easy, even for completely inept fishermen, such as myself.
Be prepared to bring everything you need with you (especially water) and take everything back (all your trash).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic spot. The gravel logging road in off hwy 95 took us a little under 2hrs with the last 10km full of rough pot holes. Upon arrival the hike in took just under 2hrs with a steady uphill climb. Great trail.
Campsites were awesome with 4-5 left of the ~12 available and only 4 people in the cabin that sleeps up to 18. Many beautiful trails all around, Sparkle lake was incredible. Steep uphill climb for 2.6km and well worth it. Bring a water pump/filter vs hauling water in.
