At First Step students are taught that acting is not about posturing or pretending to be someone else but rather it is about having the confidence to be one's self and to be "real in imaginary circumstances."Every instructor is fantastic, the environment is tremendously supportive and safe, and it is always time well spent. Through scene study and a variety of exercises I connected with other class members and increased my confidence. All the staff care about what they do and are extremely supportive to everyone regardless of experience. The cost is reasonable and the experience invaluable.
