m	morad jahanshahi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dropped by for dinner apprehensively as had no reservations on Friday evening. Bustling but we were received immediately and very pleasantly. I always enjoy sitting at the bar where possible as enjoy watching effective bar management. No disappointment there either. My wife and I both commented on the lighting which was neither bright nor dark enough that hampers visibility of the food and the space. As we feasted on their famous fried chicken-well deserved reputation- and steak, left me wishing could have ordered the halibut also as looked great on a patron’s plate next to me. The chicken was tender, juicy and nicely crisp, achieved only through a well run deep fryer and attentive chef, the latter abundantly evident in my steak also that was cooked perfectly. The portions were delicious and generous, pre-ceded by their homemade butter and sour dough loaf . We had great food and exceptional service. The manager also checked on us to ensure all was satisfactory, which was and very enjoyable. Great food, lovely space , great value ( post Covid) and wonderful staff and service. Will revisit and recommend. Well done ??
S	Simge Miu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well, i got the feast burger, I was pretty excited at first and looks were amazing, But unfortunately the meat was burnt, was pretty black and I had to separate those parts. I was still fine, no complaints but there was a hair on the pickle and wasn’t acceptable at all. Their service could have been better, they just discounted for $7 and they didn’t even say sorry at first for their fault. We’re not trying to complain to get discounts, you guys need to understand this because after I saw the hair, I don’t trust your kitchen is clean, this is the point.

T	Timm Dapp on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location and vibe. Some of the best casual food you'll have in all of west and north van. An underrated and somewhat hidden gem. I've been here twice now and keep meaning to leave a bit about these guys. This place is great. Their appetizers and mains we've had are especially on point and I give this place 5 stars because you can really tell the chef here put a lot of thought, pride and attention into their menu items. I've been impressed with everything I've had here. Our servers we've had each time are very friendly and seem to know everything on the menu well, meaning they've probably tried everything. A server here will explain to you why they liked a certain dish you're curious about. The bartender here also makes incredible mixed drinks. The vibes are casual here. I am intrigued by their big outdoor space on the sidewalk and will be trying it soon. The Dundarave location makes this a great spot if you're along the beach for a walk and etc and feel like finding somewhere nearby for brunch, lunch or dinner. The restaurant seems very well maintained and almost loved to a degree. Don't sleep on this spot, it might very well be one of the best small-owned restaurants on the entire shore.
R	Ren N on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We found this place by chance. Met the owners on FB Marketplace for something they purchased from my husband. We first came a week ago and then returned today for brunch. I'm celiac and it's so hard to find gluten free fried chicken. These guys blew it out of the park! My husband couldn't tell the difference. Loved it so much I made him bring me back for brunch and we were not disappointed! Service was great and the owners are super sweet! We'll definitely be coming back and with friends/family :)

You know it’s going to be a problem if they don’t ask you “how are the first few bites?”. Well, the gnocchi was bland; the halibut was tasteless; (although reportedly the fried chicken was excellent). Felt like we got quite a hard sell on the starters (burrata good; tuna poke very small and mediocre). Also they seem to have some sort of house wine “brand” called Steve smith - relatively expensive and relatively poor, at least in the case of the New Zealand SB. >>> Original review : Good ambience.
M	Munchica on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pure Yum! Every course of the Christmas Set Dinner set was delicous and nicely presented. Fois Gras Terrine - creamy, marrowy, and rich... Wish there was more Fois Gras Scallop Carpaccio - the scallops were naturally sweet and light Roasted Quail - - kinda boney...like had to eat around the bones of the quail but other than that it was perfect. The roasted vegetables were done perfectly. The beets were so fresh and tasty. Sablefish-- so soft and buttery.... Sooo good. Cheese selection - - nice... Could have been better with more than one cracker. Poire Belle Helene-- the chocolate tart was just right for sweetness and chocolateyness. The red wine poached pear reminded me of apple pie for some reason. But it was good. Broad drink selection as well. Great Experience!
