About Faurschou ag center inc
Faurschou Ag Center was started by Darren Faurschou in the fall of 2014. He grew up farming in the Portage la Prairie area and went to the University of Manitoba where he graduated with a Diploma in Agriculture. He went back to the family farm until 2010 when he decided to go work for Salford Group, a tillage company out of Ontario. He was a territory manager for Salford until he saw an opportunity to start a dealership in his hometown of Portage la Prairie, Manitoba.
The first year of starting Faurschou Ag Center, he sold from his truck and developed relationships with clients. The business grew, and he was able to get a small storefront in town, where he could expand his parts business. He also rented a shop off his father Doug Faurschou, where he could do service. Darren was able to hire a full-time parts person, George smith, and a full-time office manager Louise Delorme. The business outgrew the small 2,500 sq ft storefront after a couple of years and moved into a 20,000 sq ft shop and showroom. We expanded our line of products, hired more people, and have been growing ever since. Faurschou Ag Center now has sales, parts, and service all under one roof with 15 acres to display equipment.
We have come a long way since the days of selling from a truck to get to the building we are in today. Our business has grown on the philosophy of doing right by our customers and helping them grow their business. Their success is our goal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was shown a truck with a Rebuilt title of a salesman's neighbor, with deliberately misrepresented mileage and non functioning APU of which I was assured "was just a wire". So find the wire, don't leave this indeterminable fact to the purchaser, at an inflated price. Inflated to the point that the advertised mileage and functioning APU may have warranted bartering. I would steer clear of this shady going ons.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Purchased a used golf cart from Brad, was extremely pleased with the laidback approach. Brad accommodated a Saturday viewing and stored the golf cart for an extended period. Keep in mind this purchase was minimal compared to their agriculture equipment, I feel my experience is evidence they treat all their customers of the highest standards, wouldn't hesitate to buy here again or refer!
