If Dwee and I were able to stay here in BC instead of flying back to UK today we would love to spend more time with him and to attend one of the classes at his inspiring studio. His beautiful creations in stone reflect the beauty of BC and the power and majesty of the Creator. Thank you Jon, it was wonderful to meet you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We really love so many pieces in his art gallery, it’s very hard to pick only one. For now, we bought this amazing piece from John Fathom! A superb and realistic polar bear medium size. His work is outstanding! His white fur sparks under the light, a unique and exceptional sculpture. In his piercing eyes, we could even see the bear pupil, who make him feel real. With this breath of fresh air, we are now so fortunate to have our own polar bear at home.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unexpected highlight of our ski trip was carving our own Inukshuk! John was awesome and while it wasn’t always easy the process is so rewarding. Weirdly, I think theirs may be one of the highlights of out trip!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The soapstone classes with Jon were recommended by a friend and so my daughters and I chose the carved Innushuk class. This was the highlight in an awesome trip to Whistler. Jon was super patient as he explained the process to my kids and they loved every second of it. The class was meant to be 2 hours - the girls and I were so engrossed that we took closer to 4 hours, but Jon never once hurried us along. We all ended up with totally unique mementos of our time there and they can’t wait to come back and carve an animal. Highly recommend these classes for anyone who is wanting a cool creative experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gorgeous gallery!! Awesome collection of carvings, sculptures and jewelry. Jon is extremely knowledgeable and professional. My daughter took a stone class... she told everyone she encoutered how excited she was beforehand, and raved about it after! Besides her beautiful creation, Jon helped her quickly turn a simple rock into a pendant she's so proud of. We'll be checking in again on our next Whistler trip for certain!
