I grew up just down the road, and am shocked at the deplorable state they've allowed this campground get into. The Camp Kitchen is falling down, and the outhouses are not cleaned well at all. I've seen websites listing this as having showers, there are no showers and never have been. $35 a night is an unreasonable price to charge for this. You can camp in Racehorse Creek or Cataract Creek for less, with cleaner washrooms and similar services.

No management. -Outhouses stink/lid missing so it’s all open -no maintenance with grass cutting or edges anywhere in campground overgrown and no pride or care with how it looks. -graffiti camp kitchen/piping in the stove there is broken so if you have a fire it would fill with smoke. -the loop around the campground is full of potholes bad ones -fire pits need to be DUG OUT full of dirt and ash -no cell service to report problems, OR a person on the grounds to keep things in order and people following rules. -camp ground lady stops in once a day for what seems to be 30 min max to take the money and leave -rules are not followed here because nobody to enforce them -garbages are always packed full and stink -not good for floating as you bottom out -and not worth bringing bikes as it’s very small. Used to be very beautiful and cared for. Even the locals feel the same way. NEED BETTER MANAGEMENT PEOPLE WHO CARE

Came to love this place, very peaceful. Will surely be coming back every summer. Just hope they improve the water supply

Great spot for camping with kids. Loved the little brook right off our site. Only a few small issues: no Sani dump, and its first come first serve, so if you don't get one of the brook side spots, the others were not nearly as nice. We will be going back for sure.

This a favourite place of ours to go at least once a camping season. Not a big campground, but the sites are good. If you are lucky, you can get on right on the shore of the river. Only a bit of gravel to travel on , approx 2 kms worth. Firewood is free, and water from a pump is available. Only down side is there is no cell service.

This is an amazing Campground with plenty of fun to be had it is a great spot to bring your kids dogs and the whole family. There is a great River you can choose to swim in it is usually very nice if the sun has hit it for a few hours. Wheelchair accessible entrance and parking available there are public bathrooms for you to use and the best part about this specific site is that you don't need to bring your own firewood it is supplied and you can have a fire whenever you'd like. It is a very peaceful place to go I know I will go back again and again it is first come first serve so picking a site will always depend on how busy the campground is and what's available. You cannot pre-book or hold any sites or buy tickets in advance. That being said it is still worth the five stars.
