★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff are rude and ignorant. They have a mob mentality. Avoid this place at all costs. Lazy lazy lazy. Very disturbing. Very toxic work environment. Safety of residents should be a concern.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff at Lakefield Extendicare are exceptional and provide the most amazing care for their patients. My grandma lived there for 2 years, and we were always relieved to see the impressive level of care she received. In the end, they felt more like family than caretakers and always made sure that my grandma was healthy and happy, as well as keeping her comfortable at the end of her life.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff provided excellent care. They went "above and beyond" keeping family informed. When it was time to move my dad into palliative care, the service was excellent. Staff looked out for our emotional and physical needs. If I could rate 5+ stars I would. It makes me wonder why someone would rate 1 star - our experience certainly can't be that much different. Maybe a competitor trying to slag them for business purposes - I don't know.
