About Evergreen Elementary School
We acknowledge that we live and learn on Treaty 6 territory, the home, traditional meeting grounds, gathering place, and travelling route to the Cree, Saulteaux, Blackfoot, Dene and Nakota Sioux, and the homeland of the Métis. We acknowledge all the many First Nations, Métis and Inuit whose footsteps have marked these lands from time immemorial. Wild Rose School Division is committed to honouring the Treaty relationship as well as the Truth and Reconciliation Calls to Action. We recognize that truth must be acknowledged in order to move forward in reconciliation. Together we will strive to build greater understanding of one another on these lands that we call home.
