About Esposti J
John Esposti, M.S.W., R.S.W., is one of the mental health counsellors at Ontario’s Psychotherapy Services. He has almost 30 years of experience in the adult and child mental health field. John completed his degrees at York University in Toronto (B.A., B.S.W., M.S.W.). He has also obtained specific externship training in:
- Advanced couple therapy from the Ottawa Institute of Couple and Family Therapy
- Advanced training in structural-strategic family therapy from the Philadelphia Child Guidance, MA and Toronto
- Advanced training in child and adult therapy from Peterborough and Sault Ste. Marie
Areas of Interest
John’s areas of interest include:
- Relationship issues
- Problems of childhood
- Adult issues related to depression, anxiety, loss and trauma, and behavioural addictions

John also has a speciality in eating Disorders as he was the Family Therapist on the Eating Disorder Program at St. Joe's between 2002 and 2014.
