★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My secondary coverage is through Manulife and I Absolutely Hate dealing with them. They have this stupid 'Express-Scripts' program that is mandatory for all maintenance medications - which includes birth control. I'm quite well and able to hit up the pharmacy when I need a refill, but I'm not able to do that because if I opt out of this bogus delivery service, they won't pay for my prescriptions.. even though we're already paying for benefits. Not only that, they repeatedly screw up the billing and state I owe them money because they either forget, or are too inept to run my prescriptions through on Both my plans. After hashing it out on the phone a few months ago with someone about getting everything set up Properly... for a 2nd time... things were finally working as they should, even though I'd rather not use the delivery service. Now, this month, they charge a $9 fee for delivery, run my prescription through my primary plan, Forget to run it through their plan, (even though they're delivering my scripts through their service), deliver it in a styrofoam case with 5 ice packs (even though its -40 and it says youre not supposed to refrigerate my medication) and then say I owe them for the half that wasn't covered. I couldn't make this up if I tried - such a joke...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Too difficult to deal with. Front line staff are usually helpful, but there is no access to managers/provider relations except email or fax and there is only a response 20% of the time.
