Having a Doula present at the birth of my baby boy was one of the best decisions I could have made. Erin supported me before, during and after the birth by offering me education about the birthing process, guidance in my decision making, and copious amounts of support, reassurance and strength. I can honestly say having Erin part of the birth of my son was exactly what I needed. The strategies she offered, her knowledge, and simply her presence was extremely helpful. To top it off, Erin captured the most special photos with my family during the labour and delivery, and I’m especially thankful for those first few unforgettable moments she captured between my baby and I as we first got acquainted! Thank you so very much Erin!

We used Erin for our birthing and newborn photos and were blown away by her talent, kindness, calmness and understanding when dealing with unexpected situations. Working with her was a treat and the photos are incredible! We would highly recommend her and encourage expecting families to really consider a birthing shoot. I have had the pleasure of working with Erin several times now, and can say with utmost confidence that she'll always be my go-to for who to entrust to capture life's most special moments. The highest of highs to date was the birth of our son. My husband and I were on the fence about having a birth photographer initially. I was a bit nervous about having another person in the room for such an intimate experience; my husband wasn't super excited about the additional expense. I had seen Erin's work, and knew she would produce something we'd forever hold dear, from the biggest day of our lives. I am FOREVER GRATEFUL that we decided it was well worth the investment - because it was, a million times over! Erin arrived at our home as things were really ramping up. Her energy grounded me and I felt unwavering support from her serene presence, for the entirety of the birth. As she had previously assured me, aside from this, I hardly knew she was there as I went about labouring with laser focus. The photographs I have from this time of my life, transitioning to a mother, are my most cherished. They bring me to tears every time I look at them. Erin's style is the perfect balance of raw and real, combined emotional and artistic - the true wow factor that you really can't place your finger on. I have told many expecting women to highly consider birth photography with Erin, and am pleased (and not surprised) to see her work becoming so highly respected. She's not only a lovely soul, but a talented professional. Regardless of the outcome of your birth - whether home or hospital, vaginal or belly, I promise you will cherish being able to look back on one of (if not the biggest of) life's greatest achievements with Erin's art.

Before hiring Erin as our birth photographer, I really questioned whether or not I wanted to disrupt the sacred space of mom-dad-baby by adding another body but when we met it felt clear that I could put this worry aside. Erin has such a wonderful presence and showed immense respect and kindness as we welcomed our baby - in no way did it feel like the intimacy between our little family was lost. She arrived just as our boy was being born and captured his entrance so beautifully. When things did not go as planned and I needed to transfer to hospital, Erin remained a steady force, holding my IV bag when needed and then driving and staying right by my husband and baby's side until we were reunited again. It fills me with peace knowing that our son will always be able to look back and see how things were the day he was born; how his dad and I, and later, brother and sister, were floored by love when we met him. Forever grateful to Erin for capturing this day and holding space for us through it all!

We absolutely loved working with Erin! She captures the moments like I have never seen before. Nothing was too posed or manufactured, just real fun, love and some cheekiness. My kids actually enjoyed the session and it definitely showed in the pictures. Erin is our go-to photographer for capturing our favourite family moments, I would highly recommend her, you will not be disappointed.

My partner, 6 month old daughter and I had the opportunity to do a mini session with Erin. She captured many special candid moments of my family that I will cherish forever. We were fortunate enough to have Erin attend our birth. I never thought of the ideas of having a birth photographer before meeting Erin, and I now realize how much you miss and forget when your in the moments of labour. The birth of our daughter was so difficult and one of the hardest days of my life. At the time all I wanted to do was fast forward and forget about it, then Erin showed us our beautiful pictures and showed us birth story in such an elegant light! It’s was so so beautiful and made us so emotional. I couldn’t imagine not having the amazing pictures taken by Erin. Erin is truly amazing at her craft! Oh and she’s a great birth support !! Erin and I first met when I was fairly early on in my pregnancy and I could tell right away she would be a good fit as a Doula for us! Her calm demeanour and patience in answering my questions instantly made me feel at ease. As we discussed further my concerns and vision she was attentive and listened and had questions for me that lead me to feel heard and valued and I wasn't even her client yet! Erin had a schedule in place to help educate and inform me and my husband on the pregnancy and birth process, and was also available via email or text all throughout my pregnancy to answer any questions we had. My husband really appreciated that she was accessible to him as well. When my waters ruptured Erin was available throughout the progression and was at the hospital waiting when we arrived. She was calm and reassuring during the labouring process, just what I needed during the whirlwind of activity that seemed to take place around me. Erin was an invaluable addition to our birth team and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a compassionate, experienced and steadfast Doula.
