★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recently organized a meeting/ retreat at this venue. As soon as I connected with the owner Hilary, she was responsive, resourceful, calm and her communication was on point. The lodge and farm is absolutely beautiful and the cabins are gorgeous- a cut above the old dude ranch but still within budget and comfy, cozy and clean with great decor. It all lends itself to a feeling of getting away from it all - the very definition of retreat. You’ll be welcomed and will want for nothing at Epona.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We booked Epona Rise for our non-traditional "festival wedding" and couldn't have asked for a better location or team to help us out. Hilary, Cate, Jenny and team were helpful from booking, right through to our last day - always offering a helping hand and advice. We had 45 guests so split them up between the on-site cabins and hired luxury Yurts from Wild Havens (who came onsite to set them up). Everyone was comfortable and relaxed all weekend and had a wonderful three days celebrating in a beautiful setting. Highly recommend for any gatherings of friends or family - Epona Rise has everything you need.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We chose Epona for our son's July wedding and it was perfect. Having accommodations for out of town guests in the beautifully appointed cabins plus the ability to camp onsite made it conveninet for family and friends to gather together. The lodge is very comfortable, well equipped kitchen and a great gathering place for guests. The surrounding mountains and pastures made an ideal setting for an outdoor wedding ceremony with plenty of room for outdoor games. The patio area was large enough to hold 3 tents and seat 80 guests. Hillary and Cate were very helpful and always responded quickly to our requests and questions. A big thank you to the Epona staff who were available to make sure everything ran smoothly. Highly recommend this facility for weddings, retreats or for a family reunion .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We booked Epona Rise as a weekend getaway - 4 girlfriends away from our families and kids! We were pleasantly surprised at the size and cleanliness of the spacious sleeping cabins. It's a beautiful venue and great setting with plenty of beautiful views and activities...we enjoyed our hike on Saturday, exploring the area and relaxing by the cozy fire. We played cards out on the sunny deck and enjoyed playing pool in the main lodge. We made a wonderful dinner using the fantastic full service kitchen and BBQ and enjoyed a campfire at night. So nice to make our own meals - kitchen is awesome. It felt like we had the run of the place on our own. Hilary's story and vision for this place is inspiring. It's a wonderful venue for a company/girls retreat or wedding!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a truly amazing place! These aren't your ordinary accommodations. When we first arrived we didn't know what to expect but shortly after our arrival we knew our stay would be beyond expectations. Within a few minutes of our arrival we were sitting in front of crackling fire in the common area lodge and making friends with others guests. In the evening we went back to our cabins and melted into the soft beds. I hadn't slept that long in months. In the morning we woke up to a beautiful sunny valley. The staff treat people like friends and you're encouraged to make yourself feel like this is your home. Additionally, there's a herd of rescue horses on the property which you can arrange to interact with. If you're looking for a quiet, peaceful and unassuming place I would highly recommend a stay at Epona.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I found this place after researching different leadership development experiences.
I did a half day equine experience session lead by Hillary. I had no experience with horses before this and was a little intimidated going in.
Hillary held the space carefully and gave really clear instructions around safety in the field.
After that, I was really blown away by her approach of using the herd of retired horses. Tons of insight and and a new perspective. It was definitely a welcome break from the hotel conference room, mediocre lunch and motivational speaker style of leadership retreat. Would highly recommend this space and programming.

I would recommend Epona Rise to anyone interested in a corporate retreat, group event, wedding, or party.

The gorgeous lodge, the beautiful land, the mesmerizing creek, the lush forest and OF COURSE the amazing 28 rescue horses-teachers were just some of the ingredients of an amazing recipe !
Hillary and her partner were always here for me if I needed anything and I felt at home from day 1.
The retreats held here are meaningful and I saw many people over my stay leaving with smiles on their faces and light hearts, feeling heard, helped and healed from Hillary's amazing work and passion.
Definitely a place to go to if you're in the area or on the other side of the world, you won't regret this immersion within nature and probably within yourself. Merci, thank you Hillary and Seb for everything, you're the best ! à bientôt !
