★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place if you are nostalgic of Europe, for the large selection of products they offer. They also make very tasty sandwiches for lunch! They are so good that you should order them ahead and ask them to keep them for you. The lady owner has a personality that is not always very... nice, but if you do not mind moody people (plus, she is not always there), well, it is a great stop in your tour of Québec.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went with my partner and bought a pasta that was on sale. When we got home, we saw that it had expired a hear ago.
We returned it for an unexpired pasta and he charged us full price.
When asked why do they sell expired products he said legally they are allowed to.
This is disgusting. What else do they sell that is expired that we do not know about? How about the cheese? The meats? How old are the oil barrels? Do they clean them? When is the expiry date of the oils?
Be prepared to be sold expired items.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice shop on rue St-Jean. A variety of oils sold in bulk, coffee beans, pasta, cookies and sweets, pickles and olives, a deli and more. Some vegan items, such as jerky, antipasto, marzipan, etc.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful store with way more than European food ! You’ll find excellent cheese, meat and bread! A place full of treasures where you can spend hours looking at shelves and of course shop until you drop!
The staff is very friendly and helpful. I will be back every few days during my stay in Quebec!
