Superbe petite épicerie latine, et le petit menu offre des mets colombiens succulents, comme des tamales tolimenses ou l'incontournable bandeja paisa!!
Superb little Latin grocery store, and the small menu offers succulent Colombian dishes, such as tolimenses tamales or the essential Bandeja Paisa !!

Good food, supermarket choices are pretty limited. More of a restaurant than grocery store.

Slowest service ever. We had to wait 45 minutes for our food, and people who arrived 30 minutes after us got their food before we did.....but the food is really good, definitely worth the wait

I have been to this place several times the last 2 years, great service... super friendly people there... lots of products you can't find anywhere else and delicious meals.. Today was very different, I pre-paid for chalchipapa I told them I would wait outside and come back a few minutes later to get my meal, they told me it should be around 10-15 min, which is normal wait time usually for this meal. I go outside to smoke, come back at least 15 min later and they look surprised to see me and don't even talk to me and I heard them talking in the back and they had forgotten about my chalchipapa.. I don't speak their language but I can read body language. So, I politely wait hoping I misheard them and sadly I had to wait another 10-15 minutes without anyone making apologies for the incredibly long wait time. I look in the back and it looks like my chalchipapa topping was burnt to a crisp and then my meal is topped with some more fries to cover the disaster? Anyway, as you can probably tell already I'm super polite and patient and I don't mention anything because I've always had good meals at that place. I go back to my car, and start eating the chalchipapa. First bites are just the fresh fries that were added on the top, and they were good. Then I start digging in and I notice all the charred pieces in my cheese and all the burnt sausages and what looks like scrap from the stovetop ?? It didn't so bad, so I proceeded to it and when I was about half way done with the top layer, I start noticing dark (like actually black) oil at the bottom of the container. I have eaten that meal before and it's pretty oily but it was never BLACK like tar, that was disgusting to see. In conclusion, horrible experience today. Meal was horrendous and service was terrible, if they had apologized about the mistake or for having me wait twice as long I wouldn't even have considered to make this review. I'm considering not going there again if they keep serving me charcoal chalchipapa... I'll probably give them a second chance and update this review if I have a better or worse experience.
