We priced purchase and installation from 4 different places and ended up working with Brendan in sales and Mark for the installation. Brendan was patient and informative as we learned about the different qualities and price points for the products. He confirmed what we had learned at other places, and helped us to find a higher end product at a better price than what we could find for "entry level" or "contractor grade" products at other stores. So better product at a better price, for both engineered hardwood and carpet. Mark the installer came out to measure and assess the work at hand. When the products we chose came in, Mark delivered it to our home so it could come to the right temperature and humidity a few days before installation. For the installation, he was meticulous. Both he and John (his second installer) worked hard to ensure that the sub floors were prepped property and ready for installation. They built custom thresholds for the different rooms and even build a custom stair nosing for the steps to the basement! (I included a picture because it does look great!). Overall, the best experience we have had doing floor removal and re-installation in our 25 years of home ownership. I kind of thought of End of the Roll as "budget", but what we got was a superior product with a thick wear level at a reasonable price that was expertly installed. And less expensive than an inferior product with a thin wear layer from the higher end stores. Thanks guys, we are impressed.
L	L1230 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in needing a quote and picked carpeting, the guy that helped me was ok. I Had to call back 2 weeks later to remind the installer to come measure. He called twice (4:40pm and 12:30) saying he could be there in 15 mins. Well….like most people I work during the day. Tried asking to set an apt so I would be there for sure, heck even a specific day and I would stay home all day…his response “I’ll get back to you”. Never did and I went somewhere else.

It was a very tough choice and we ultimately decided to go with the other company but it was simply that we fell in love with one particular colour/style of carpet they had. Working with Mike from EOTR was fantastic, he was helpful and delivered prompt service and great follow-ups. Will definitely consider EOTR for any future flooring needs.

Didn’t hear from the installer so called the store a week later, and was told the same thing. This happened twice more before I went to Kelowna Flooring superstore up the street who are excellent. Spent $8000 on carpet. Not sure what these guys problem is.
