Je fonctionne par téléphone et j'ai acheté plusieurs items... connaisseurs avertis davantage. Very good place to make great purchases in the vintage of all kinds ... If you know your wanted items you can make good catches ... I work by phone and I bought several items ... knowledgeable connoisseurs more.

Gelineau. De plus le paiment est rapide contrairement à d'autre encanteurs et les frais sont plus bas... I sold my father's painting collection at Gélineau. L'encanteur fait de son mieux mais beaucoup des employés sont négligeant avec la marchandise (cogner les items, les traîner par terres et "chipper" les pattes de tables, bureaux ou chaises... J'en ai vu un déposer un cadres de métal sur un tabouret de cuir et l'endommagé avec un air niait de l'employé!), discute devant vous pendant l'encan. Bref ça manque de professionnalisme. Mais comme j'ai dit on peut faire de belles découvertes. Et on peut acheter en dehors des encans. There is a wide variety of antiques and antiques. Some are worth something else not. The auction itself is a bit chaotic. J'ai été surpris de voir la quantité et même la qualité des œuvres. Il faut cependant bien se préparer avant d'y aller. Ça va très vite et on a pas le temps d'analyser et de bien observer les œuvres. Je vais y retourner, c'est sûr. I have just attended their art gallery for the first time. Fascinating experience and out of the ordinary. I was surprised to see the quantity and even the quality of the works. However, it is necessary to prepare well before going there. It's going very fast and we have no time to analyze and observe the works. I will go back, that's for sure.

They send a representative who is not not interested in consigning pieces for the auction house. NOPE!They want to BUY pieces straight out...If you don’t know what you have…they will RIP YOU OFF! What auction house operates like this? NONE! I’ve sold fine art and antiques at auction houses from Vancouver down to Chicago, Toronto to NYC. He pays cash. Offers no receipt! And SNOOPED all over my house WITHOUT PERMISSION and continued to do so, after being asked to STOP...he wanted to buy more but by then I was shaking with anger and a sense of betrayal! I only agreed to sell a handful of pieces so he would just LEAVE! Never again!!! Horrible experience!!
