β β β β β Staff at Boathouse Trading Co. were a pleasure to work with. My partner and I were married at Emerald Lake in June, and Mike worked with us to arrange canoe rides as a surprise gift to our guests. I appreciated that he kept in touch when our wedding was postponed and was very communicative, accommodating and friendly. Canoeing on Emerald Lake is incredible - a must-do when visiting this magical place!

β β β β β Very poor show. Essentially a rip-off and very uncooperative staff. Only beat-up canoes for hire. No kayaks or SUPs. And No, they don't allow half hour rates as someone, most likely their own proxy, has said earlier. The staff made every effort to block us from getting a better experience. Best to bring your own boats and SUPs. The lake is open to public and good for SUPs.

β β β β β The best staff in all the Rockies that we encountered! The two women working here the morning we visited were helpful, funny, organized, knowledgeable, and so kind. The shop is a great place to grab souvenirs as well!

β β β β β Had a fantastic experience renting a canoe at Emerald Lake last week! The price is more reasonable than nearby touristy lakes (Moraine, Lake Louise) for hour rentals AND they allow dogs, which is a huge bonus. They donβt have half hour rentals, but honestly, why would you only rent for a half hour? The canoes are sturdy and smooth to paddle around in, which was great since our goldendoodle likes to stand up in the middle and move around to check things out sometimes lol. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Nice little shop attached.
But letβs not forget the best part. THE LAKE! The views are spectacular. The water is magical. You wonβt regret this experience!
