Bring Your Reusible Water Bottle to School - April 4, 2022
Parents and guardians of ECS students,
If your child does not have a refillable water bottle at school, please send one with your child. At Emerado, we have two very handy water bottle filling stations so that students can stay hydrated throughout the day. Students are encouraged to have refillable water bottles at their desks and to take these with them to Physical Education classes.
Our water fountains continue to be shut off at Emerado, due to public health concerns. While we have been providing water bottles to students who don’t have their own refillable bottle, this practice is not sustainable. We are giving out many bottles of water daily, which is costly, wasteful and not environmentally friendly.
We want to work with you to keep all of our kids healthy and hydrated! By providing a refillable water bottle, you are helping your child to be responsible, healthy and a good steward of our earth!
