C	Courtney Urb on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We just returned from a lovely morning at Elliott Tree Farm. It is a cute family run farm perfect for a fun family outing. My partner and I took our 4 year old. We enjoyed a delicious pancake, bacon and sausage breakfast before a short but scenic walk toward the sugar shack area. There was a nice fire pit with a warm fire. Frank Elliot and another staff member poured some freshly boiled maple syrup taffy onto fresh snow. We then got to wrap maple taffy around a stick and enjoy it along with a sample of maple water. Frank then lead a little information session on how maple syrup was made and answered questions. We would have loved to have seen the evaporator up close! On our walk back we stopped to admire the beautiful horses and popped by the gift shop for a colouring book and some delicious small batch maple syrup. The staff was friendly, helpful and we had a great time. I highly recommend a visit!

The info on the website about the cost didn't match the messaging when we arrived. The website said admission was free with the purchase of a tree or something from the barn, but when we got there, we were told it was $10 per person. I attached a photo from the website as well. All and all, we had a lovely morning. The price difference is something to be aware of.

Owners were super kind and generous, inviting us to a bon fire for his fathers birthday (thank you Derek!). We stayed in amd played their scrabble game and cards (rummie). Property is very nice to walk around and the personal fire pit was perfect to stay warm until almost midnight!!!. We got cold and had to go in. ?

Everyone is friendly, from the gentleman who met us at the entrance to explain where we needed to go for everything, to the young man who walked us to the section we needed and took our tree down to be bailed, and the lovely ladies running the shop in the barn. They bring a food truck on site on the weekends if you want to grab a bite and sit by the fire too!

There’s acres of land to explore, hand crafted wreaths and local products to purchase in the barn and above all, the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. It is absolutely worth the trip. We had a great time walking to the sugar bush trying maple taffy and maple sugar. Very informative lessons about maple syrup, history, production,etc. I just wish that bathroom facility is better. Overall, a great experience!
