★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Least fav part of going there, that gives me anxiety, is the initial interaction with the counter clerks.
Don't care for how they talk to me. Find they have a bad attitude. Purposely(choosing to be) not as friendly/patient/kind as they could be. Are "short" with you.
Got all this attitude when I tried to ask if there was an all-black bathing suit in the lost and found. *
"So just an 'allll-black' bathing suit, huh?" "Yes." I kept answering as she repeatedly asked the same question, in a tone (not trying to hide it) where she thought I was trying to acquire\steal a generic looking bathing suit from the lost and found.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this pool. It was where I used to swim as a kid, and I often go when I’m visiting Vancouver.
The staff are amazing, even offering up helpful advice for my elderly mother and anticipating her questions and needs. I was blown away by their level of service, and the care they took when dealing with her.
Plus, floor to ceiling windows looking towards the mountains! How can you beat that view while doing laps???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty nice facility although it's a bit small. Pool is very bright thanks to the large North-facing windows. The waterslide is impressive for the kids (if it's open that is).
The gym is very cramped and there are exercise bikes out in the hallway which is a little weird. Staff was friendly and helpful with the questions we had.
Family change room is nice with multiple private showers/changing cubbies. One issue though is the water in the showers is cold!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice swimming pool for kids. A wading area that leads to the deeper area. There are fountains they turn on once in a while and a rope to swing on that is supervised when allowed. Only downside is that the water is a bit cold.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This rec centres costumer service is absolutely horrendous. They never answer their receptionist phone. Honestly just wanted to know a few questions regarding membership. Plus their steam room and change rooms are slimmy and never maintained. One star for the supervisor that manages this rec Center??.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff at the front desk incredibly unprofessional. Nobody says hello when a customer is at the desk, and they’ll keep you waiting while they gossip with each other before checking you in. Often times not even looking in your direction and chatting away while they run your card like it’s a grave inconvenience. Not talking new employees either.
Who supervises this place? I don’t want to feel like a bother showing up to my local rec center.
