Anyone working there is pretty much a sadist. They purposely halt your assistance funds unless you call in and demand it. Disrespectful, intimidating and neglect those who need their support for something as simple as shelter and not wanting to starve.

The worker i had at the window .greeted me with the look of ..great heres another one. Bad customer greeting and bad attitude .teach your people better people skills and empathy and dont make it hard to apply . Ill figure it out ..thanks eia!!!!

Keep your 30 bucks for medical phone' 30 bucks does'nt even cover half a phone bill and WHEN I get sick, the last people in the world I'll want around are Winnipeg EMS and the WRHA.. 30 BUCKS?You people are priceless.

my review is not a nice one, they have lied and then tripped on there lies, then they try to make you aggrivated so they can hang up on you, when you dont get angry they put you on hold and claim the call was lost, I have had two surgeries to my hand in the last 6 months, exhausted my funds cause i cant work, and cant get any help till March 10th, by then I wont have a phone for them to reach me (online appointment between 8:30am -4:30 pm no set time just make sure you are sitting there for 8 hrs waiting for a call, then be told your next appointment for assistance.

Day 28 after submitting my claim, they finally called to let me know due to their procedures, they required one additional signature. I was repeatedly refused any contact information, instead told to use my (non functional) internet reporting. Shockingly, it didn't work. Now I'm being told my only option is to wait an additional 4-10 days (expected, the call I received on day 28 was "expected" on days 3-5) for a new code to be sent, so they can then start to process my claim. For PART of ONE WEEK of pay. This institute is utterly broken.

Is it a Manitoba thing? Can not one resource entity clearly communicate? HONESTLY! I could swear on a piece of literature not a single person actually understands what they are saying, why they are saying it etc Absolutely infuriating trying to get ahead and find a job AND THESE PEOPLE HAVE JOBS THAT MORE THAN HALF OF US COULD DO BETTER BECAUSE WE CAN SIMPLY CONVEY A PIECE OF INFORMATION. The most archaic and derelict province I have ever lived in. I have been screwed and let down by every single resource reach out here. Disgraceful.
