Eels Creek is a lovely place to walk and fish. I will definitely return.

No marked trails. Though if you like a bit of adventure this is the place for you. Bring extra footwear. Crossing streams on logs is a bit challenging.

Great hiking location. We took our 4year old with us and she was able to walk all the way to the falls and back with only a little bit of help. Great views all the way.

The drive from Peterborough to this spot was a good one. Just getting green and I'm sure it's fantastic in the summers. There is no proper parking area but a makeshift one. Nonetheless it was free parking... A nice quite location with a lot of trees and walking area. No amenities in the vicinity though - no shops nothing or for that matter no washroom. Saw people canoeing on the water - believe it leads to the High Falls. Worth the drive and time spent especially when you want to do something without spending your paycheck!!!

Great hike, falls are very nice. If the water flow is low you can swim in a pool in the middle of the falls. A number of crossing trails, no blazes. Keep the water on your left going to the falls, on your right coming back to the parking lot.

Eels Creek is more than a Creek, it's a place to bring your family and friends, relax, swim, paddle, go about your day with no worries just Nature, use of good hiking footwear and Bug spray is highly recommended, also respect Nature and pick up after yourself.

Very cool falls and takes about 1 hour from parking lot. People had small children but the path I took that hugged the waters edge was not very kid friendly. (5 minutes in you have to cross on a down tree over a creek) Not sure of any paths more inland but that would take longer I'd suspect. Very fun and doable for an average hiker. The falls are great and well worth the hike. You can swim at some parts at the falls or in the river next to the parking lot (the place I chose). Google's directions aren't clear, you need to park in the Crown land camping parking lot on the North side of the bridge. Parking is limited and tight.
