S	Sandi Quinn on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was very disappointed in the zoo this time! Only saw a very upset zebra, trying to join the females and a baby zebra. Lots of exhibits under construction and there seems to be more Lego animals then real live animals, is that the way the zoo is going? Why isn't the public allowed into the elephant building yet? We heard Lucy was on her walk but we never saw her. The zoo might think about a real time tracker on Lucy so we find her, as she is the only worthwhile attraction at the zoo these days.

Especially in the winter time when all the lights are set up! My photos definitely can’t do them justice and I would 100% recommend coming to check them out if you haven’t experienced them for yourself yet! ☺️?

There were a lot of areas under construction and I'm sure it will be so nice once complete. There were not a lot of animals to see. Lucy the elephant was MIA, they said she likes to graze on the grass on the outer perimeter of the zoo. We couldn't see the tiger, not sure if there even was one there. We saw camels, zebras, small monkeys, seals, sheep, a red panda, animals that looked like mountain goat, meerkats, and kangaroos. I thought we would spend a few hours walking around, but it took about 45 minutes to walk the park.
P	Pauline on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lucy the elephant was not out today, which was too bad because I wanted to see her. Newly opened zoo (2019), so it is small but such a lovely zoo.
A	Alicia van den Brink on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A good little zoo to visit with kids. You can see they're making an effort with attractions and are continually upgrading the habitats for the animals. We really enjoyed the primate house and Lego animals that are currently on display! I recommend getting a season's pass as its a great way to keep the kids entertained and have opportunities to see the animals. Go in the afternoon for feeding time for the best viewing!
M	Mike Surbey on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is good value, some amazing animals. The staff have so much passion and care for what they do. Took the time to talk with us and just made the experience amazing. Got to say never seen a house cat a Zoo, hope it's happy. The only thing that really was not great to see is the cow and which industry sponsored it. To me a zoo cow should not be sponsored by the Alberta Beef Producers, I truely believe this hurts the image of Zoo and what they stand for, Conservation. Not being a livestock resource.

Anyone we came by that was working in any of the exhibits would greet us, then explain the exhibit, and tell us about the animal living there, and some history about them. It's my first visit in over 30 years, and nice to see that the place is growing.

A number of buildings weren't open when we went, as some animals were under care, which is unfortunate but what can you do. The animals that we did see looked to be in good health. I believe it's priced reasonably well for what you get, but the Calgary Zoo is definitely a better zoo in my opinion. Unfortunately the Calgary Zoo is quite a bit more expensive at over 3x the cost for both adult and child admissions, which also doesn't include parking.
